Ace Hotel Party Tonight to Celebrate Target's 5th anniversary of the GO International Designer Collection

Now here's a reason to party! Target is re-releasing 34 of its best selling dresses from its GO International Designer Collection, where they’ve given us a second chance to pick up dresses from past collaborations with Proenza Schouler, Zac Posen, Rodarte, Thakoon, and many more. The pieces will be available for sale in stores and online at target.com from March 13th - April 10th (or whenever they run out!).

To celebrate this, they're throwing a party tonight at the NYC Ace Hotel w/ frequent collaborator Opening Ceremony. Better go check it out - it's pretty exciting!

For a sneak peak - check out some of the dresses that are being re-released. For more, go read up on this at Fashionista.com

Matthew Williamson Launching a Bridal Collection!

Again, I am totally awestruck by the new bridal collections coming out this spring! London-based designer, Matthew Williamson, well known for his fun, flirty prints and dresses, is coming out with a 12-piece bridal collection! Below are my favorites from his lookbook. Apparently wholesale prices are from $1,400 to $3,300, so do keep that in mind as you're setting your wedding budget!

Vivienne Westwood's Line of Palladium Jewelry

Vivienne Westwood is working with The Palladium Alliance International to create a line of environmentally-conscious pieces made entirely of the lightweight precious metal, and she got Christina Hendricks to be the new spokesperson! The line features symbols of hope - including trees, acorns and hearts...and boy, this heart just oozes rocker chic...perfect for that bride looking for something unique and different.

Would you have a McWedding?

I recently read about this in the NYTimes and I'm really intrigued! Here in the US, a McDonald's wedding probably wouldn't happen (though I have heard about White Castle weddings!) but apparently there's a market for it in Hong Kong, where it just launched on Valentine's day.

A McWedding starts at $1,280, which includes food and drinks for 50 people. The package includes a "cake" made of stacked apple pies and McDonald's employees dressed in black suits to usher in guests and deliver Big Macs and fries.

sounds kinda fun! Read more about it here!
