It's time for some sweet lovin over at StyleMePretty! Kim Le shot the sweetest engagement shoot and highlighted the couple's love for sweets! I adore how the shoot was styled - pale colors in the background and neutral outfits for both bride and groom, so that the lollipops can stand out.

Jonathan Ong photographed this wedding and boy, it was magical! The bride and groom really know how to take group shots - they provided each guest with a heart-shaped balloon and captured the effect of floating hearts.

DIY $30 Wildflower bouquet!

Sock Monkey Love - Funky cake topper!

I saw this whimsical wedding over on Once Wed, and the detail that stood out was the pair of sock monkeys on top of their cake! How cute is this?! You can buy your own customized version on Chachi Loves Finny on Etsy.

It reminds me of the Kia Superbowl Commercial that I love. Go sock monkey!

Ok, I'm going to admit it, maybe it's not the most sensible to have a piggy plate at the table all the time, but for just the right occasion - it can be perfect! What I've been up to?

Sorry for the slow posting rate these past two weeks! It's been a busy time, especially because I've started an internship at an eco-friendly fashion brand, CMarchuska, started by an alumni from my beloved alma mater (who I hope kick the odds tomorrow and win in the sweet sixteen!)

For my internship, I will be blogging over at the CMarchuska blog, as well as helping them implement their social media campaign. It's pretty exciting, and I hope all of you guys will also read my blogs over there! For my latest entry on eco-friendly rain gear, click here!

Running with the chalkboard idea - I just saw a pretty nifty DIY project over on Ruffled. Amanda of Ruffled is running a DIY contest entitled "Found Tucked Away and Used Today" and boy, there are some creative folks out there!

One of the entries really caught my eye and here it is!

SnapKnot - search tool to find your wedding photographer

I found this tool via Engaged & Inspired, and I'm impressed with the idea of having a one-place search tool to find photographers in your local region under your personal budget.

It's a photo-centric site so brides (and grooms, of course) can pour through hundreds of portfolios easily without having to read a ton of unnecessary text. After all, the quality of a photographer is in the quality of his pictures and not in his ability to write or blog right? Go check out the site!

Chalkboard LOVE

Ever since moving into the new digs with my new husband, I've been wanting to add some chalkboard charm to our living room! It's now been 4 months...and no chalkboard charm yet, but I'm still pining for it and was so inspired by the fact that Project Wedding is about to show us some DIY Chalkboard projects. Cupcakes in Teacups!

What a fancy and ingenious touch on the classic wedding cake! Instead of a regular wedding cake or an everyday cupcake stand, this bride decided to bring a vintage aspect to her cupcake table by using teacups. Just a note - this idea probably wasn't cheap to pull off! However, you can buy teacups wholesale and also give them away as wedding favors to cut some costs.

Looking for a design-savvy way to display your engagement pictures or your escort cards at your wedding?

These are pretty nifty! Just a word of caution however - pictures tend to bend, so make sure to hang them on the day of or else you might get a bunch of rolls!
